  1. Baader Planetarium of Germany use a slightly different thread pitch (which they do not specify, but which is a little less than 0.75mm) for their M48-threaded products. This was selected based on their measurements of hundreds of other M48 threaded accessories on the market, and which they believed would therefore increase the chances of their products being compatible with the largest number of non-Baader items.

  10. well managed to free the bevelled section it was really stuck on. Solution a little hot water to cover the bevelled section in a tray and left the FF for a couple of minutes in it's bath a pair of rubber gloves and hey presto she succumbed and gave in (maybe a little adhesive applied in production)

  16. this is the cheapest option otherwise a 2nd hand 50mm SW finderscope then adaptor to modify it. The 50mm finders do come up now and then
