  1. Lovely. And the signatures convey the pride in their products.
  2. Don’t worry gents. The big SCT runs itself doing science whilst I’m having fun with the FC 100 DZ + extender Q
  3. Seems the name is already taken 🀣 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NGC_7008
  4. It looks like a foetus in the womb to me Spectacular image πŸ‘πŸ»
  5. Looking good in spite of Moon and low alt πŸ‘πŸ»
  6. Steady on there Mike! I know how you feel. I ended up with this big black reflectory thing as as finder for my lovely fluority Tak FS 60.
  7. I have just drawn a light curve of the nova until today (Apr 25). It has maintained its brightness very well and is still mag 7.8 to 8.0. Keep watching as it will fade at some point! Data are from the BAA Variable Star Section and the AAVSO databases. The pink horizontal line at the bottom is what is thought to be the nova's quiescent magnitude
  8. Thought I’d see what all the excitement is about πŸ‘πŸ»
  9. Well, with the FC 76 DCU and FC 100 DC you’ve got most things covered. At least until the TSA 120 comes along 🀣
  10. What???? Excellent news. Did I miss the unboxing pics?
  11. Was thinking same, John. Sounds like somebody had a stash of largely unused Taks. That TSA 102 looks very tasty indeed. But I don’t really need a third Tak ~100 🀣
  12. FC 100 DC is lovely. And then this appears today: https://ensoptical.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=10610 πŸ€”
  13. Interesting. I’m sure our resident engineer @johninderby can comment on the number of turns required
  14. Looks great Piero. Is this different from the large dob you got a while ago?
  15. I see FLO have an FC 100 DC and FC 76 DCU in stock right now
  16. Well done for making them feel at home by providing pots of 🎌 bamboo πŸ‘πŸ» You could even make some Tak sand castings in them
  17. Just make sure you have a tube of UHU ready 😊
  18. I know you give each of your scopes equal billing, John, but are they used on a strict rotational basis?
  19. I’m not even going to mention the handle, David 🀣 Seriously lovely set-up πŸ‘πŸ»
  20. The H 150p is a lovely scope and readily transported. It comes with an acceptable RDF so you don’t really need a Telrad, which would probably be too bulky anyway. With a nice wide field eyepiece you’ll be well away πŸ‘πŸ»
  21. Actually, I probably damned it with faint praise, Barry 🀣 I find it to be the best of a bad bunch. I do use one on my Tak FS 60 Q, although I did have to fix it with some UHU when it snapped (the Baader SS III, not the Tak 🀣)
