  1. I like the sequence of your images. I can see Io, its shadow, and the GRS on the move. Would make a great animation Reggie
  2. Exquisite images and animation! πŸ‘πŸ‘
  3. Good image, soft on the focus (due to the seeing), but nice colors and moons Reggie
  4. Another brilliant image, Kostas. I see that feature you mentioned; could it be some kind of message?? The things we do for astronomy, eh? Don't get hypothermia, my friend! Reggie
  5. Bravo, Luke! I love watching shadow transits Reggie
  6. Nice work, Fedele. Thanks for sharing your image Reggie
  7. Nice work, there Pete! Each image has its charm. Sometimes, I prefer a bolder look, and others a softer touch. I love them all (if not too noisy, lol). As you stated so truly, "always nice to be under the stars" 🀩
  8. Gorgeous mistake, Kostas. You can make wheat out of chaff, a testament to your processing skills as Geof noted. Great moon shot, too. This looks like a lovely painting Regards, Reggie
  9. Thanks for the aperture info, Geof. And as long as the jury is still out, we can at least enjoy the possibility of their being the actual rings
  10. Amazing, Geof! You and Kostas make quite the imaging power duo
  11. Cracking image, Nigella! The color balance by @Space Cowboy really did the trick Reggie
  12. Brilliant, Nigella! And detail on Io as well. Bravo! What scope and camera did you use? Reggie
  13. Incredible, Geof...or should I rephrase that...CREDIBLE! πŸ‘€You did it! Big congratulations! πŸ‘πŸ‘What in your opinion would be the limiting aperture for imaging Uranus rings (and surface features)? Reggie
  14. Great looking images, even with the shadow. @geoflewis and @Kon are top-notch astronomers and imagers. They will steer you in the right direction Reggie
  15. Beautiful image! Easy on the eye. I like lucky imaging Reggie
  16. Holy smokes!! πŸ‘€These are classic, Geof. I could look at these all night! Ready to be published
  17. Great image, Ian, especially considering the circumstances. You're definitely going in the right direction. I'm learning stuff all the time Reggie
  18. I like your images and the animation is uber-cool! Don't feel bad, Lee. I make pizza, too! 🀣🀣 I think that saying is slowly becoming iconic πŸ‘€ Reggie
  19. You have some nice images here. Geof is first class; he will help you get the best images out of your gear Reggie
  20. The second image looks much more natural. Great shot Reggie
  21. Nice shot, Graham. Very natural! Reggie
  22. Take good care of yourself and have a wonderful Christmas and a prosperous and healthy New Year
  23. Beautiful Saturn, Geof. I can't wait to see your yes Neptune image! Regards, Reggie
  24. Thanks for sharing this, Steve, and merci, Thierry! I first noticed dimming around the 4-second mark, peaking around the 10-second mark, and recovering by the 14-second mark. As noted, it's more easily seen at .25x; the effect is subtle.
