  3. Do you find you get unwanted mount movement during sessions as the earth is so soft? Have you no patio or other firm setting? Roger
  4. First image from use of Pixinsight , No Darks, No Flats. Stacked 25 300s DSLR subs. Debayered , Star Aligned, and basic stretching , i am only up to 4 of 12 youtube tutorials by AstroDude. Only had PI for 2 days, so obviously a work in progress and more work needed. Roger

  11. Its interesting to see the difference between alternate cameras this one is a 5 minute Ha sub before any calibration , hence ampglow. Roger
  12. Looked At Luminance for M33 , looks fine and Oiii for Pacman looks ok perhaps a little noisy ,all from excursion set. Not experienced with that camera though. Roger
  13. Nice post , in the animation there are a couple of stars that seem to switch off after a very short time are these artefacts in processing or something weirder? Roger

  16. Just one question , i see you mention Gain, and wondered what the Unity Gain was for you camera and whether you have used it , obviously needs to be set same for whole session Dark,Flats,Subs. I mostly keep to to Unity Gain and don't seem to have problems others have , also heard that monitor screens are not best as they flick on and off. I use APT flats tool and may help if you wanted something different. Have you ever had acceptable flats HTH Roger
  17. Apparently at night when you are asleep , you swallow on average 2 a night, hence the horrible taste in your mouth in mornings. Roger

  20. I really like it , and stars look ok to me, just wondering about that Black Hole , is it unseen elements blocking the background , which one? Roger
