Ngc4216 and family

I love this part of the sky....so much going on. Ngc4216 and family just right of Markarians Chain.

exposure time was 4x15mins in L 3x530 in Blue 3x420 in Green and 3x600 in Red.

What background noise reduction did you use?

I use Noels actions combined with Photoshop reduce noise filter

Tim the galactic clusters clump together to form tendrils with large pockets of relatively empty space between them.

many thanks everyone. N4216 has a unusual jet or arm that comes out and turns at 90degrees...it extremely faint...its just starting to show, but you have to look very close

Commented elsewhere but well worth commenting here as well - this is an absolutely stunning image and beautifully processed but more than anything else you have also alerted us re-examine an amazing piece of sky!

I have, it doesnt show as an outer glow just very faint arms....ill probably try a couple of longer subs to see it there is anything
