I really enjoyed the Battlestar Galactica reboot a couple of years ago. More recently, I really liked "Moon" but all time fav is "Alien". Watched it with my dad when I was about 6 or 7 and it scared the bejesus out of me!

Moon was awesome. But also...

Contact: Although the book by Carl Sagan is even better

Enemy Mine: "Zamis!"

Silent Running: Save the trees! (And the cute little droid!)

Star Wars Episode IV: Why was Solo so much cooler than Skywalker?

The Explorers: Oh to have a spaceship made out of a fairground ride!!

2001: " I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that. "

Space Camp: How many people on this forum fancied her when they were 12? C'mon own up!

My god this could go on for a while....

I've lost count of the amount of times I've watched 2010.

Fave Scene : Air braking around jupiter !

Also the ones below, although not all space movies, they are all great sci-fi movies.

War of the worlds. (1953 Version)

This Island Earth

When Worlds Collide

Logans Run

City Under the Sea

Warlords of Atlantis

The land that time forgot.

Journey to the centre of the Earth (James Mason version).

The Fly

Any Star Trek movie.

Origional Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi.

The day the Earth stood still (both versions).

I could keep going all night with the classic cult sci-fi.
