Hello people, new to site and stargazing. As I've been "seeming interested" in the night sky recently my wife bought me a Celestron Astromaster 130EQ for Christmas, which was a nice surprise. Managed to get outside for the the first time last night and got some good views of the moon.

I've realised there's a bit more to it than just pointing a telescope at the sky so no doubt I'll be picking your brains a fair bit :)

You won't go far wrong with FLO, although they don't have a shop - yet. The advice you get from there will be spot on. There is a shop called MC2 in Frome, Somerset although I have never been there. Nothing in Torbay I'm afraid.

Welcome from east devon!

As the others say, FLO are your best friends around here, bought from them over a year ago and any problems are no issues with them.

As to SGL, it's a very friendly site, give it a good tour and don't be afraid to ask, the natives don't bite:-)
