Hi from Northampton.

Came across this site while looking for an EQ6 rebuild instruction.

Liked it so much I joined.

However, Astrobaby website seems to have the instructions I require, but can't access it.

Am I going mad?

Could you tell me what foundations you used for your pier?

I have an area in my garden set aside, and it has a 1m cubed hole to fill with concrete (or let the kids fall in).

Need to get it right 1st time.

Hi Izak and welcome to the forum.

I can confirm you are indeed mad - NO not at all what but has happened is that Astrobaby's site has had to close for a short while due to a virus attack effecting the server that helps run her site, (I think I got that right) but I'm sure it so will be up and running soon.

I can't remember for sure I think it was 5:1 or 6:1 of coarse aggregate to cement but can't be sure.

Start a thread in the DIY Astronomer/DIY observatories section, there must be some builders amongst the members.:)
