Evening all.

Noob from the NW of England saying Hi.

Been playing around with a little Astromaster to see if I still had the bug (used to mess about years ago with a refractor). Just purchased an 8" Nexstar GPS off eBay (already modded my Microsoft HD webcom LOL)....should be collected the scope this week.

Things sure have moved on a lot!

I dabble in photography, so aim to get the DSLR mounted up as soon as funds/knowledge allow (currently have a Canon 50D, which is a heavy [removed word]...would I be better picking up a 350/400D)?

This place sure looks like a knowledgeable spot (been lurking for a bit), so I hope to make a small contribution,
