Jupiter 10th/11th August 2021 - good seeing

At last we have some good seeing. Here are a few images showing the GRS region rotating off the disk. Two prominent dark barges just above the NEB.

Note the 23:45 image was a single image, the seeing went to pot for 15-20 mins or so before recovering in time for the other images.

By comparing with the later images it is clear to see the benefit of de-rotating and combining multiple images in WinJUPOS.

These are great images, I was also imaging Jupiter from West Sussex last night.  I at the start of my planetary journey !

Excellent Peter, the top one is sharp as a tackle and you can just about see the latest outbreak to the lower right of the GRS in the 23.45 image.

The winjupos images look very smooth and detailed Peter. The single image is good but it does lack that something compared to the winjupos shots.
