blinky
Only got 40mins before the clouds rolled in, I am very chuffed with this though. I reckon the is the toughest image I have processed and think it has come out pretty well. I really need to get some flat frames with the ED80/350d as this would greatly(click to enlarge) improce things.

blinky
I was really surprised at how much colour I got, the subs looked like they had no colour just a slight hint of the rosette.

RobH
Amazing result, especially for such a short integration time. The focus is pin sharp, and the colour is excellent.CheersRob
ngc2403
Sweet image, and no easy job to get either.the colour is very good and the stars look good too. some good flats would really boost the contrast in this and alllow more detail to be brought out.Flats can make an image, and with DSLR's they are a must. They really make all the difference.some idea of their importance, ur camera same as mine has something like a max SNR of 6-10 before you take off the flats. After it is in theory unlimited by the camera. An improvment of 10 times the SNR would not be uncommon for a Deep Sky Object like this one.
