Hi everyone,

Been looking at the forum for some time and thought it was time to say hi. I've been in to astronomy for a few years now and I generally image the solar system due to the horrid light polluted skies here. I'm just waiting to get my hands on a 12" Flextube so that I can go out and find some darker skies.

WOW! - What a really nice welcome from you all thanks. :)

Once I get my back injury sorted out and can get the kit out in to the garden I hope to post an image or two. Typically we've had some clear night skies and I've had to content myself with looking out of the window :crybaby: :crybaby:

Looks like I'm going to have to sell my 8" SN Meade as I can't lift it on to the mount now. Oh well hopefully I can get the new flextube out in to the garden once FLO have new stock. Still at least the 80ED isn't heavy for imaging.
