Sol WL, HA, Proms, loads of action 6-9-17

very cloudy here today but i bydid my time and managed to get a few images in the gaps, seeing quite good in the gaps, with WL showing some nice detail.

there are some proms on the off going limb, in the vis i didnt notice the wave type prom , there may be more what i missed.

kit- ed80, quark chromo, asi120mc for HA, 120 f5, lunt wedge, 1200d for WL

Fantastic! I'm so annoyed I've missed it. Spaceweather.com says the flare was the biggest in a decade

thanks Iain, yer mate it was a cracker, i only caught a bit of it due to hd problems, didnt have enough free space, so by the time id deleted some moon vid from the night before the spiky bit ha gone about 09.30. clear skys . charl.
