looked out the window and I could see it in a gap in the cloud so had to shoot it. seeings a bit fazey but not too bad.

ive got some wider shots I'm just having a job staxing with the darn cloud so ill update if I win.

 kit old faithfull, 1200d, heq5. taken from open obsyroom window.

Old faithful is the 127L. I want one because it seems to have a built in cloud busting feature

I really like the colour and soft contrast.  I may have said this before, but they remind me of the covers of Sci-Fi books from the 70's.......  there is something other-worldly about the Moon in a daytime sky.

thanks Rich, yes the ar127l is old faithfull, ive owned it 13 years in october, its a amazing high mag frac at f9.5, no need for any barlows or filters, it gives HD views, ive adjusted the crown and flint to make it spot on. clear skys, charl.

thanks Sean, didnt have the choice with the contrast with the thin orrid cloud, its a hell of a job to get it sharp without tons of noise, the sky looks a bit better today if i get lucky mate. clear skys, charl.

thanks Neil, its not that im too fussy, but i was getting a ghost when staxing, it turned out not to be the cloud what was causing it it was 5 frames that my cat had rubbed against the tripod and made it wobble mate, i removed the 5 frames and it staxed nice, hope you have clear. charl.

ps heres how it staxed before i took the frames out, you can see the Ghosting at the top, i was half way through processing before i noticed. ive turned it and monoed it to show the ghosting better.
