Sol HA+Proms 2-4-17

some HA shots, seeing isn't as good as earlier when I got my WL shots but its still not bad, the ARs are looking great in the vis but theres a bit of fazing going on.

kit- ed80, Quark chromo, ERF, asi120mc, 50% reducer. about 200 fames in each shot. noticed we have a new AR coming on the rim but clouds invaded before I could get some good vid, ive some data but a lot of cloud in it ill update if I can get it to stax.

I don't think they same them, it was around midday yesterday, may be on SOHO.

Just had a look at AR2644 and it's still putting on a show unfortunately the seeing is the worst it's been for weeks so hard to even focus on it.

Wonder if Iain's doing a timelapse of it

thanks Dave-S, me too, wont be long before I get one, ive got rid of most of the lines from the colour cam by moving the reducer nearer the cdd. clrar skys ,charl.

thanks Ewan, glad you like them mate, I was lucky enough and got up early and caught it before the seeing got iffy, 10am it went down hill fast, still getting to grips with the Quark but I like the images I'm getting with with the little ed80. hope you have some clear , charl.

I was at a shooting comp with my lad at that time ;-) , looked up saw the sky & just wanted to get home lol, just processing some now, looks promising so far.

Did you catch any of the flares ?
