Far form perfect stack of not a huge number of subs - done with my solar filter held on my bridge camera with tape as my scope mount is undergoing modification... I think reflections caused those weird edge effects.

Nice one Neil, I never take my setup away from home without some elastic bands, ladies hair bands and some tape. 

PS, No, I don't use the hair bands for their original use!

Just Baader solar film.

Are you also using an EP filter to create the orange-ish color? My Baader solar film images of the sun are white.

I cheat ;-) Sunlight is actually pretty much what defines 'white' but an orange colour is less stark and easier on the eye.

Stretch red up, stretch green up by half as much, darken blue. There are other ways, it's fairly easy to colorise as long a sits RGB not greyscale.
