Clavius June 14, 2016, 625 mm QHY5III178M. Not terrible, monstrous but promising.

Hello

Meteoblues promised not terrible conditions in south France and he was right.
But it lasts for several months so I tried some films. The telescope was stripped of her skirt to reduce its wind resistance otherwise it dance a jig.
About a dozen films one gave a watchable picture, yes I know it is oversample you can reduce it at will.
No need to make a mosaic with QHY5III178M Clavius enters without problem.
To the right of Clavius D there are processing artifacts, shadows are crap but if the conditions are right as sometimes it happens and with high moon nearest it should make a stunning image.
Anyway I'm ready.

Clear skies.

Luc
