Finally some good seeing!!!

Finally a night with good seeing, I rated it a solid 7/10! Refreshing to say the least...after many weeks of lousy conditions, visually it was quite a sight on the 300mm newt. and a set of binoviewers, lovely detail following the GRS

 

Setup used: GSO 300mm newt. ASI 120MM camera, Astronomik RGB filters, about 5000 frames per channel (60% quality used), processed with AS2! and Winjupos, just a touch up in PS CS5.

Sure feels good too get back at planetary imaging, after my Chameleon camera died I was feeling a bitsad, but now with the prices of the 120MM going down I had to get one to cure my "planetary blues" ?

Wonderful stuff Luis. You get a real sense of the 3D planet seeing the GRS foreshortening as it heads around towards the limb. Lovely!
