Hi All,

Getting back into the world of astromomy after an absence of many years.

My first telescope was a Tasco which I received as a Christmas present in 1966.

I used it very infrequently after the early 1970's as life got busy with college and employment.

I last used it during a Mars close encounter about 13 years ago. It was then that I decided that I would make more time to get back into this hobby.

About 3 years ago I saw an ad in Craigslist for a Meade ETX 105. It came with the Meade 884 tripod, a good selection of eyepieces and it was in great shape, being used very little.

I have since bought a Phillips 900NC webcam and I'm trying to perfect my astrophotography skills.

This website has helped me countless times and I enjoy the friendly and helpful atmosphere.
