Hello,

I just want to introduce myself a little.

I begin with astronomy about four months ago. I read books and go to forums like this and learn but it is a much more to go on. Two months ago i buy my first telescop synta skywatcher 80ED pro and I'm very happy with this scope. The scope came with EQ5 mount but with this aluminium legs is not good enough. So three weeks ago I buy HEQ5 GOTo Pro mount and I'm very happy with this mount.

That really is a great setup you've got there mate!! I agree with you on the alluminium legs on the EQ5, they drove me nuts!!!

I have a HEQ5, not the pro model though . I've heard lots of good things about it!!!

The ED80 is also a very nice widefield scope. I'm sure you'll get some lovely views through it.
