Hi and welcome to the forum. Good idea to join up and ask a few questions before parting with your cash. No bad scopes out as long as you stick to the major brands and the best value for money as far as aperture goes (...bigger the aperture the more detail can be resolved) will be the dobsonian newtonian, as most of the money goes into the mirror rather that fancy electronics.
