greetings, I live in East Lothian, just outside Edinburgh, Scotland

Welcome to SGL panner, I'm sure you'll find lots to interest you on the site and there are always people willing to offer help if you need any.

The 5SE is a nice scope and a very capable portable instrument.  One of my scopes is the 8SE and it's great fun to use - the goto is very easy to get to grips with, with a bit of practice.

I live in West Yorkshire, but I sometimes travel up to Penicuik in East Lothian - my wife's mother lives up there.  I'm sure if you need to find a dark site away from home you'll have no trouble where you live.
