Hi All

I'm glad to join what is a really informative and interesting group! I've been looking upwards since Mr Armstrong took a small step, only having my eyes and more recently a dslr. I'm lucky to live with very low LP and just standing outside and seeing more and more of the Milky Way appear as the eyes adjust on moonless nights still amazes me.

If all goes to plan my first telescope will be a present to myself this Christmas. Reading all the reviews, comments, thoughts can get you going round in circles, but I think I'm nearly there!

Just a brief hello and will update as things progress

Hi Chris welcome to the lounge

bet you open it as soon as it arrives, getting new kit

is like being a kid again, we are all the same especially

when it's a scope and the sky's are clear.

Welcome Chris.

Get used to your head going around in circles. It doesn't stop once you've purchased your scope (great present to yourself, btw). Rather, it will most likely start spinning a little faster, particularly if you keep reading posts/reviews on here :)

Nice to have you on board. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as I think you will.
