Hi,

I have been watching the skies for years using only my Olympus 10x50 binoculars. I have also visited this forum many, many times as an anonymous guest. Reading many of your interesting topics.

Yesterday I finally ordered my first telescope. An Orion SkyQuest XT8 set adding a 10mm eyepiece and a right angle finderscope plus a moon filter. Figured it was time to also take the next step and register here on SGL. So, here I am!

Located in the mid-western parts of Finland (country-side) with no light pollution but with very cold winter nights.
