Just wanna say hello, im ant from North Oxfordshire, anyone else on here from my area. i have been into astrophotography for about a year now. started out with a canon 450d and earlier this week i decided to buy another canon but an 1100d.  out of the two cameras which would you guys thinks the best. 

my plan is to try and get some gear and get some nebulae  like some of the stunnings photos ive seen on here.

Hi Ant, welcome to SGL.

There's a few of us imagers about! The 1100D is good for AP, many use it. Do you have the book 'Making Every Photon Count'? It is something of an imagers bible and is really helpful. You can get it from the book section of the FLO website. It will help you with all the jargon, and how to get the best out of your kit!
