Hi, I'm Steve Long and observe either in floodlit Bedfordshire or darkest Dordogne. No longer a youngster I've been dabbling in astronomy for twenty years or so. I have 3 telescopes (Celestar 8 SCT, a 4 inch Celestron refractor, a recently acquired 6 inch Vixen reflector ( in need of a few bits and pieces!) and a pair of 20x80 binoculars. It is my ambition to build a 12 inch motorised Dob - ah, ambitions eh?
