Welcome.....in 1963-71 I lived in Norwich and was a member of the old Norwich Astronomical Group/Club, they have an nice active page on Facebook too. Are you joining their group which now has an observatory at Seething?

Astronomy isn't difficult its just that there is a lot of it but as the stars aren't going anywhere, there clearly is plenty of time to take it all in as and when your experience grows. You have certainly come through to the right place as there is lots of experience and knowledge here for you to use in addition to archived questions and answers which can be accessed through the search button in the top right hand corner of your screen.
