I signed up to the site today, but I've been browsing it from time-to-time as a non-member for over a year now, picking up some good tips and goggling at some amazing pictures.

I'm a keen amateur astronomer and have a general interest in science. Unfortunately, the telescopes I have access to are on the other side of the country, and despite taking several trips that way over the last few months, the skies have not been kind. I haven't been able to carry out any observing since about May. So far, I've only imaged bright objects; but I hope to begin a modest assault on the Messier catalogue this year. I'll try and post a couple of my images this evening.

Hello KoCS :grin:

Could you come out to Norway and do battle with the clouds here. I need to see some stars with all this lovely equipment that is accumulating! While I cannot gaze I accumulate even more :shocked:
