Double Custer in Perseus (NGC 869 + 884).

I always seem to end up visiting them at some time during the session.

300 is an ambitious list, I hope you get there - I think a lot of favourites will be the same ten objects or so.

I think mine is probably the Veil nebula (NGC 6992, NGC 6995 and NGC 6960).

I have been a member of SGL for just over a year and was about to do a "highlights package" - a top 20 or so. If the list begins to stall, i'll forward you details.

M81, M82 Bodes Nebula. There's just something about these two that brings me back every time.

If we are allowed to add more than one I am going to say M38 in Auriga. Of the three Auriga clusters, that one is my favourite.

M106 for its French curve appearance through the eyepiece is one of my favourites. I also love the big face on spirals M33 & M101.
