Only for F/14 scopes and slower, I would say (7mm exit pupil). A 2" adapter would reduce the field to 40 deg, if I am right.

That 2" adapter is quite interesting. One would need nerve of steel to put that in a 2" diagonal. I'd be worried the weight of that eyepiece will just strip the thread in the diagonal barrel and shear it off the focuser.

I think you'd need a bigger dob' to unbalance the Zeiss 100 mm.

I don't think that would happen, I think the focuser would shear of the scope

Now that,,,is a telescope! When the eyepiece itself would dwarf a small mak, you know that you have entered serious waters.

As interresting as we all find it there is no way i would pay that sort of money for an eyepiece that is basically useless to most of us. Much better with a nice Nagler 31mm or Pentax XW 40mm.
