Aloha,

I'm new to Stargazers lounge but not new to stargazing. I've spent alot of my life looking up at the night sky but only the last few years through an eyepiece.

Canholder is my partner in crime in astronomy related matters so any images he posts I am a part of and vice versa.

Usual SOP is Canholder sits in base camp alpha (the warm garage) manning the laptop whilst I man base camp beta (scope in cold garden) checking wires, tweaking this and that, preserving my night vision and battling feral wildlife intent on death and destruction. Ok, it was one hedgehog that came sniffing around if truth be told.

I'm continually amazed at how big and wonderous it is out there, space that is, not my back garden.
