Hey everyone, I love the skies and cosmos. I really didn't start looking at the stars till 2010. Now it means so much to me.

I don't have any special gear but I used to have some binoculars (lol) so I hope I can get a good telescope soon with help from you guys :). I do keep track of all the stars and object with the help from an app for my iPad and iPhone.

Hello Mimmi and welcome to the forums.

Binocular observing is a great and cheap way of getting interested and active in learning the night sky. Try to get some, as they will be a good asset to your scope later on. 10x50s provide the best overall size for steadiness of views as well as a good magnification power and light gathering power.
