Greetings all,

I want to introduce myself to the forum. My name is Andy and im from Gosport, near Portsmouth UK. I have been fascinated with astronomy since school, reading the astrophys sections in science textbooks for fun. I took Physics AS level primarily for the Astrophys sections. I have never ever owned a telescope and only gazed through one once, and i have decided its time to change that.

It was the discovery of Jupiter these last few nights shining away in the night sky which has prompted me to get involved in this fascinating passion/hobby. Time to trade in the skyview app on iphone for a real telescope and some time learning how to use it.
