Hi! I'm pretty new to astronomy; have a TAL-1 and a Skyliner-200P plus the usual bins. I am retired and alternate my time between the Cotswolds (UK) and the Languedoc (France).

hi there Stonezafu, I also have a skyliner 200p awsome scope! Ive been interested in all things astro all my life but just recently took the plunge and bought my first scope! wish I was retired so i could spend more time doing what I love. only 23 though so long ways to go yet lol happy observing

A warm welcome to the SGL, I also have just retired and Im enjoying my self

and spending more time on this hobby, you must get some nice weather there in France and dark skies here luck you
