  1. As we all know prices are governed by supply and demand, so if demand falls due to excessive price increases then prices should start to reduce, (hopefully).

Hi and welcome to SGL, you have come to the right place for help and advice.
  3. I think they might be out of my price range ๐Ÿ˜€
  4. Thanks for that link, exactly what I am looking for. I am ordering now ๐Ÿ‘
  5. The 1.5 mm is to fit the M2 socket head bolt bolt but I only seem to be able to find one in a set.
  6. Can anyone suggest where I could find a supplier for a 1.5 mm 1/4โ€ drive hexagon socket bit please. I have all other sizes but am missing this one. Thank you in advance.

    Hi Steve, welcome to SGL.
  8. I wouldnโ€™t worry about it because when Saturday arrives the weather forecast will be entirely different. The best thing to do is wait until a few hours before you want to take your scope out then look at the forecast. ๐Ÿ™

  11. Hi and welcome back to SGL.
  12. Hi Pete, welcome to SGL. Looks like you got a pretty good deal with that set up, a 6โ€ mirror will give you some great views. One of the things you need to know about with a reflector scope is collimation which becomes easier the more you do it. You have joined the right place for friendly and knowledgeable people so you wonโ€™t be short of any help or advice.
  13. Definitely 2/3 weeks, guaranteed to get you frustrated ๐Ÿ™
  14. Hi and welcome to SGL. To be an astronomer it is essential to have patience.
  15. My garage has power but I have never used heating or a dehumidifier.
  16. My 200P Dob and ST120 have been kept in the garage for about 2 years and they have not suffered from any problems at all.
  17. Looks very familiar ๐Ÿ™
  18. Sorry I wasnโ€™t more specific with my explanation. When I first bought the AZ4 it was just the mount which I tried on an AZ3 tripod and was very under impressed with the stability. I contacted FLO who assured me that the 3/8โ€ stainless steel tripod would be much better which proved to be the case, I am now very happy with my present set up and would recommend it.
  19. I omitted to say that I used the Skywatcher 3/8โ€ stainless steel tripod on both mounts which increases the load from 5 kg to 9 kg for the AZ5.
  20. I used to have an AZ4 which was ok but since I changed it for an AZ5 I find it much better to use with the slo mo controls. Used to have a EQ mount but it was rarely used.
