Hello everyone! Looking forward to joining the community. There was a time, albeit many years ago, that I thought I would make a career in astronomy. Pluto was my obsession. Halley’s Comet had just made an appearance. So much going on….Voyager, etc. Well, things change. Life happens. Now, 30 years later, I found my old wooden tripod and binocular mount that I made eons ago from blueprints in Astronomy Magazine and my interest has been rekindled. Going to purchase a telescope and some camera equipment within the next 6 months and dive back in. Looking forward to doing some research and getting some input from the resident experts here. I’ve found a number of YouTube channels that are excellent sources of info. If anyone here has suggestions or even your own channels, I’d love to take a look. Cheers!
