  15. just read all those posts it really makes me not want to use abs,not that i have had any problems on there! its just the volume of emails, frightening! when i was looking for a etx125 i had a quite a few offers i am just glad i picked the right one!!!!!!!!!!! (thanks martin) i think it might be UK only from now on thanks for the warnings i have never seen that part of the site before
  16. also a good barlow will effectivly double the size of your collection
  17. hi i have bought from coolman who is selling this eyepiece and i have not had any problems. the meade series 4000 will certainly be better than the ones you have, but you can pick up some very good 2nd hand eyepieces on here and astro buy and sell. pete
  18. very nice report mick, like the sketches too, its nice to see what you see, rather than photo's i have always wondered what the view would be like through a very large aperture scope, especially something twice the size of my newtonian. i can feel aperture fever again
  19. nice pic! i think a lot of people observed it for the first time last month ! i imaged it myself but unfortunatly it was pretty poor, but more than happy just to see it
  20. nice pics especially m82 what set up are you using?
  21. good start ! fun is definatly the most important thing to keep in your mind! when i was trying to image mars when it was close a couple of months back,it certainly did not feel like fun brrrr got it in view insert webcam and barlow, argh! where did it go but with practice, patience and a smile, well sort of! you can get there.
