      I was tending the last of the bonfire (deck etc), extinguishing it at 2am or so and noticed the MW when I has my bright LED headlamp on... I switched it off and the sight was just amazing. Excellent transparency, the Milky Way is actually very bright and lit the bay up, mixed in with the stars.

      Of course I was too busy to use my scope lol! Very limited time to burn here now.

      The nearest I have got to this Gerry is when I go over to the lake when its dark and the Moon is reflected on the surface of the water, it does look lovely. I have never noticed any stars reflecting in the water :happy7: it must be brilliant.
