  1. So, I received my Cheshire collimator...so far I really really hate it!! I think I might just invest in a high quality laser collimator..

      lol the ho-tech laser is probably the only laser i would trust. ive had all types of collimation tools and the cheshire is the only one i will trust

      remember that you msy have to check AND collimate a laser.

      Cheshires are preferable, IMO. I've got both and when I collimate visually using the Cheshire and then check it with the laser, the laser shows it as being off. It's not. The laser is wrong (and, tbh, a waste of time). The laser is well-collimated but it just doesn't sit on the focuser tube tight enough to be accurate. The very slightest movement will knock the laser off.
