Thanks Chris yes it’s a long way from my early days but the journey has been fun and I’ve been very lucky 🍀 in my purchases and I was shocked that the Primaluce are the same cost as the ADM but look so much more yummmmmmy

I personally prefer the Edge for the edge to edge sharp stars I’ve owned several C8 and 9.25 but prefer the Edge 8 or 9.25 HD

Looks like you either need to open the clamp some more or it’s bottoming out with the plate the dovetail is fitted to on saddle in which case it would need spacing out I’d say the second option looks to be correct

Mark uses quality optics some great APO ones like Lzos etc also carton and like for the achromatic ones or he will use yours and they are definitely for real not for just looking at but also through they are in what you would call steampunk guise they are fairly expensive but are hand built and a lot of time an effort go into one

You can get specialist insurance on line for telescopes it not to bad I’ve used a couple before now when sending glass abroad Secureus is one -
