With all this Sun the last few days I'm having to try really hard not to press the trigger on a new ZWO ASI 178MM for solar imaging
-
Well that was a productive evening, ruined my laptop!
-
Wasn't the Moon gorgeous last night. All orange with passing clouds and low amongst the trees.
-
Forecast here is dismal. My next solar image could be Wednesday!
-
If you have blood the colour of the eclipsed Moon then you probably should see a doctor.
-
Some nice views of Jupiter, it's moons and the GRS last night.
-
Anyone watching The Orville? I was pleasantly surprised. Sort of like Star Trek crossed with Red Dwarf.
-
Woohoo - Bank Holiday weather!
-
My name is David and I am a solarholic. It's been 4 days since my last solar image but it feels like weeks :-p
-
So the weekend arrives along with an infinite layer of cloud!
-
New lappy ordered, should allow me to get better frame rates from the ASI 178. Fingers crossed.
-
Does anyone remember what stars look like?
-
Ordered a 240gb Toshiba SATAIII SSD for my lappy to try and speed up that new ASI178
-
And another weekend of diabolical weather!
-
Another weekend of permacloud
-
Need some clear skies, all this bad weather's costing me a fortune!
-
Looks like my solar imaging streak will be broken today :( 14 consecutive days!
-
Solar breakfast with Joe Satriani and a bowl of shreddies. Life is good :-)

-
Up @ 6 to image the Sun, only to find laptop has failed again! 2nd time in about 3 weeks. That's it time for Linux Mint.
-
Woohoo, day off work and the Sun is out!

Terrible Summer Weather

What was supposed to be a clear sky last night looked suspiciously cloudy to me!
