  1. I received some feedback from Pagasus advising that I require the thin bracket to mount the FC on the Baader newtonian focuser. As yet I've been unable to source such bracket in the UK?
  2. Slight elongation on all the stars, could be flexure?. How are you guiding, OAG or guidescope
  3. Surely someone has attached a focuscube to a steeltrack?
  4. I was 14 when Halley came back round' I remember observers in OZ first viewing the comet April that year, I tried to find it in Oct with no luck when it was in Gemini, finally saw it in Taurus early Nov with binos. I need to look out my old astro journals in the attic.
  5. Hello Neil, can I ask if your focuscube came with 2 bracket options?
  6. After a long wait Ive finally managed to purchase a Baader Steeltrack focuser for my newtonian, I would be interested to know if anyone has successfully managed to attach a Pegasus Focuscube 2 to it for autofocusing? Thanks
  7. I saved like crazy to buy same scope with my first job. At nearly £900 its still the worse Instrument I've ever owned. The corrector plate as they called it was a rough edged piece of glass that's only job was to hold the secondary. I won't continue, piece of rubbish.
  8. At the moment not being able to buy certain bits of kit for many months. No stock and no timescales.I understand completely the supply chain issues but it is frustrating.
  9. Wow, what a collection of great images , you have been busy ! Mark
  10. Im not sure how the port office or couriers work with their export declarations but basically the camera needs to be retuned under (OPR) outward processing relief for warranty repair, it can then be imported back in to the UK as OPR return and the sender only pays any duty and VAT on the repair value not the value of the camera. 11. Hello George. I use a ZWO 2600MC with my Spacecat51 which is identical to the red cat, the stars are pretty good across the FOV even with this larger CMOS chip with only very slight tilt in one corner which does not bother me. My only issue with the space cat is the focuser, I changed out the bat mask and replaced with the finer grate version that Lucomatico was selling which helped, Ideally I want to autofocus it going forward. 12. A UVC light will kill the fungus in the meantime, depending on how long the fungus has been there itay have already etched the coatings?
  13. I purchased the diagonal for my spacecag 51, it only accepts 1.25" eyepieces but should provide a a superb wide field view with my ES24mm.
  14. Taken over several clear nights once it cleared the trees. SW 120 Esprit, ZWO2600MC, IDAS LP filter, 107 x 300s, captured with NINA and processed in APP& Affinity.
  15. Would the ASI air be compatible with this mount?
  16. Taken during the clear skies of the previous full moon. 52 x 600 through the Esprit 120 F7. Zwo 2600mc, Lextreme filter. Processed in APP. Colours are a little funky, need to have a play with PI and seperate HA and OIii.
  17. Try imaging with a refractor or lens system without uv/ir blocking.
  18. The 2600mc doesn't have a uv.ir filter as far as I know as what would be the point of it being an astro camera if it did. Im sorry to tell you but the 2600MC front window has UV/IR blocking.
  19. Superb image, God I want an Epsilon.
  20. Excellent image, what exposures were you using, Any filters?
