The day started very nice but my house position does not afford me the luxury of morning imaging, when I did make it outside patchy clouds rolled in.

Most of the prom shots were through clouds but upping the exposure helped.

At least I got my solar fix for today

Amazing photos , you have made me want to buy a solar scope....

Don't forget this was done with an 80mm Triplet + Quark

Much the same weather here today & I have a shed roof to re-felt.

Oh super shots :) :) :) I am glad you have seen the sun this weekend. Here it is wall to wall clouds everyday, just what I would expect for a weekend though ;)

I don't know whether to laugh or cry sometimes, no way the wife was letting me off the 're felting shed roof job' so I started it, sun was ceeping up the garden, half way through the roof I stopped, set up scope gear, clouds rolled, down scope gear & away, back on roof to carry on    , to me that's even worse than not bothering to set up.

Oh well there's always the rest of my life & that disc is going nowhere soon.

Like me yesterday, every evening when I am busy the sun comes out at sunset and it goes clear blue. So yesterday I set everything up ready and it was cloudy, I don't know why I bothered :(
