Hi got a 'scope off my son for Xmas but there was some thing missing from the box, there were

 no clouds!!  So I tried it out But made the first of many mistakes and did not allow it to cool so after about  a very short time it fogged out. Still a success of sorts

I should of course known better as I have attended several star parties, not as an astronomer, but as an assistant to one of my friends  but now due to my sons generosity I suppose I will now become an official 'cloud dodger'

 stand by for silly questions
