Jupiter and Io on 25th (C14)

Recommended Posts

I looked out of my window at 3.30 this morning and it was clear! So I somehow managed to crawl out of my pit and open the obsy. I caught several runs so still have more to go through. Seeing here was a lot better here than it has been of late but far from perfect. This is the 1st one for me this year so processing is a bit rusty!

Harvey

Lovely and I have a question: is Jupiter oriented that way or did you reorientation it?

What orientation/position does it have normally?

Just wondering. ..

Thanks for sharing!

More please!

John

Hi John, - my telescope will show a mirrored image of how it is so I have not re-orientated the image. In reality, the moon will be on the other side of the planet so the equatorial belts would still run in this direction. I hope this helps?

Regards

Harvey
