Hello folks,

John from Manchester here.

Been into astronomy since school days pretty much on and off, and have been lurking on here for some months now.

Had a 4.5" scope a long time so ago when my daughter was born but that soon got forgot about due to family duties and the like. Now that time has passed and it appears I am not required anymore (teenagers and all that my interest has come back and I have been viewing the orange skies through some Helios 10x050 HR's for the last year or so.

I now have permission from the good wife to treat myself to another scope for my 40th(41st?) year and so I thought I would sign up and join you guys.
