Hi all

well its been year since I owned a scope and it was a 4 inch Newtonian. Well since retirement I been in and outa hobbies but this was always in the bak of mind. After stumbling across a Dobsonian DIY scope, I was sold immediately. It get me in the garage away from the Wife, Lets me use my vast collection of tools, and lets me make something I can use in my own backyard. So stay tuned for some pics as I go through this journey.

Plans for the Dob is a 10 inch f5. Should be a good start. I am very glad to be here to pick all your brains.

Just a side note most call me Griz.
