Hi everyone

Joined up on here a month back and thought it about time I said hello and started to actually post! :)

Another newbie from Essex. I've had a passing interest in the stars for many years now, something reignited recently when I've been camping in the sticks and had some wonderful dark skies to stare at!

Only got some old bins to use (10*50) and don't intend to rush out and get a scope.

Been to a few meetings of a local club ( Castle Point Astronomy Club) and am just sorting out membership.

Looking forward to a long and educating journey.

Hi Andy and welcome to the forum.

Good idea to take your time and do the research on the scope front. Your binos are great for getting to know the constellations which are always useful to know.

Clear skies in the meantime
