Hi everyone, I've lurked in the forum for a while, admiring the photographs and absorbing information. I'm buying my first scope and decided I needed to become a more active participant in the community.

Thanks to everyone for making this a great place for the starving student astronomer to come and visit. I hope to be able to make my own contributions in time. :)

I hope you settle in and enjoy the forum, and it's friendly population.

Your astronomy will improve for sure, and if anyone can help, they will be only too willing to do so.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Its not a bad strategy to lurk around for a bit and to read up on kit etc in preparation for your future purchase. There is so much to learn and to see and I'm sure you'll decide to participate when it's the right time for you.
