I'm new to the forum but I've been in to astronomy for a long time, mainly visual, but I'm looking to start digital imaging. It looks complicated!

My 'scopes include newtonians and refractors on equatorial and alt-az

mounts.

Welcome to Stargazers. Hoping to have a go at imaging myself - lots of very useful info on the site to help us find our way.

Lots of people have highly recommended a book called Making Every Photon Count - written by a forum member and aimed at beginners.

Hi Skyguy - if imaging is your bag you should get 'Making Every Photon Count' by the forums own imaging guru Steppenwolf. Its highly rated as an intro to imaging.
